An outstanding restaurant in the heart of the city. The food is superb, fantastic menu selection, great wine list and attentive service from delightful staff. Our waiter must be employee of the year!! I highly recommend Queens Head and love the well planned ambiance of the restaurant and bar.

We very much enjoyed the half chicken with fries and slaw. It was plenty of food for the 2 of us so also quite economical. Nice staff, too, and good wine (well, this being NZ and all). We had just arrived in Auckland and rushed to find a good dinner. We made the right decision!
